
Hi everyone, I go by the username MakoDC and I am a longtime gamer that is finally looking into actual coding! I imagine it will be a long time before I can begin making stuff, but I'm taking my first steps in trying to learn C++. My first big goal is to develop something for the Dreamcast as I've been impressed with the indie development scene that it has, and I was actually inspired by the Dream Disc jams to learn a programming language.
On top of my lofty ambitions to become a games developer, I also happen to be a musician that writes and records synth-based music. I've seen a lot of people spamming game jams offering to make music for peoples games with the same copy and paste community posts, so I'm relucant to find myself tarred with the same brush.
I may update this profile to include links to my music, and perhaps put together a little sample video, but that will be a task for another day.
